Introducing the All New AFB Florida Retail Database!

Irma is gone, and AFB is back in action!

Today, the Albertsons Florida Blog is pleased to present everyone with our new accompanying website - The AFB Florida Retail Database! The AFB Retail Database will be a centralized location where you can access all of my store list tables. As of now, the database includes links to the current Albertsons Florida Store List and Safeway Save and Pack store list, both of which have been kicking around on the blog for a while now. However, the database will include even more lists of retail outside of the Albertsons/Safeway spectrum. In addition to the two lists I already mentioned, there are currently three brand new lists in the database right now (check out the new page to see what they feature). In the future, I will be adding more lists to the database as I come across them and/or find the time to compile the necessary information into a proper table. There will be no regular posting over there, but I will announce when a new table has been added on the database's homepage. For more information on what the database entails, please jump over there and take a look. Enjoy!

More Albertsons coming up in next week (a shorted break than expected due to Irma, but it should hopefully be enough time for everyone to digest all the information in those tables in the database)!

So until the next post,

The Albertsons Florida Blogger

  1. As always, what a great project (and reveal)! Having worked with you on the Albertsons Mid-South table, I know you put in lots of hours on this, and it has definitely paid off. The idea of an entire website dedicated to such a retail database for the entire state of Florida is a grand undertaking, and is sure to be a useful resource for many in the future!

    1. Thanks! I just wish the big reveal didn't get delayed, but at least it's up and running now. Yeah, I've been working on the Retail Database since April or so, and I've been very eager to share this stuff with everyone (and now you know why I said I was knee deep in spreadsheets earlier this summer!). I know it's a lot of work, but with this project I'm going to take my time and post on a when-I-get-to-it basis so it's not as stressful. I'm always looking up locations for all of these old stores, and sometimes it's a pain to track them down, so I figured why not just begin to compile all of the locations I find into one central source to make things easier for everyone?
